Employment

UnitingCare Gippsland tries to advertise all vacancies widely, but sometimes vacancies may only appear on this site. We do not keep lists of potential employees.

When applying for a position we ask all applicants to complete our standard Application Form, and they must provide a written response to each of the Selection Criteria. For some positions we are happy sitting down with potential employees to provide advice and support in relation to their application.

We interview in the interest of children and young people. For this reason we ask applicants for permission to ask questions about their personal life, and referee checks are rigorous. All those involved with UnitingCare Gippsland must have satisfactory Police Checks and Working with Children checks. We also have policies in place to ensure only appropriate behaviours are tolerated, and that children and young people's health and safety are paramount at all times.

We are a family friendly organisation.
